शिक्षा  में  दार्षनिक  एवं  समाजषास्त्रीय  परिप्रेक्ष्य

इकाई 1

1.  शिक्षा का अर्थ एवं प्रकृति, शिक्षा एक प्रक्रिया के रूप में एवं शिक्षा एक अनुशासन (विषय) के रूप में शिक्षा के बीच अन्तर।

2.  लक्ष्य एवं उद्देेश्यों के बीच का अर्थ एवं अंतर, शिक्षा के निश्चित लक्ष्यों की आवश्यकता, शिक्षा के लक्ष्यों के गठन के आधार, वर्तमान लोकतांत्रिक भारत में शिक्षा के लक्ष्य।

3. शिक्षा के अभिकरण- औपचारिक, अनौपचारिक एवं निरौपचारिक। बच्चों की शिक्षा में घर (परिवार), स्कूल एवं राज्य की भूमिका।

इकाई 2

1.  दर्शन का अर्थ, प्रकृति एवं क्षेत्र, शिक्षा एवं दर्शन के बीच सम्बन्ध, शिक्षा का दर्शन- (प्रकृति, क्षेत्र एवं आवश्यकता) एवं शिक्षकों के लिए इसकी उपयोगिता।

2.  दर्शन के भारतीय सम्प्रदाय- वेदान्त, बौद्ध धर्म, जैन धर्म एवं इस्लामी परम्पराएँ एवं शिक्षा पर इनका प्रभाव, अवधारणा, उद्देश्य, पाठ्यचर्या एवं विधियों के विशेष सन्दर्भ के साथ।

3.  भारतीय शैक्षिक विचारकों का योगदान- टैगोर, विवेकानन्द एवं गांधी अवधारणा, उद्देश्य, विषय-सामग्री एवं विधियों के विशेष सन्दर्भ के साथ।

इकाई 3

दर्शन के पश्चिमी सम्प्रदाय- आदर्शवाद, प्रकृतिवाद, प्रयोजनवाद एवं मानवतावाद एवं शिक्षा पर इनका प्रभाव, अवधारणा, उद्देश्य, पाठ्यचर्या एवं विधियों के विशेष सन्दर्भ के साथ।

 पश्चिमी शैक्षिक विचारकों का योगदान- प्लेटो, रूसो एवं ड्यूवी अवधारणा, उद्देश्य, विषय-सामग्री एवं विधियों के विशेष सन्दर्भ के साथ

इकाई 4

समाजशास्त्र का अर्थ एवं क्षेत्र, शिक्षा एवं समाजशास्त्र के बीच सम्बन्ध, शैक्षिक समाजशास्त्र का अर्थ एवं क्षेत्र, शिक्षकों के लिए इसकी उपयोगिता।

भारतीय समाज- इसकी मुख्य विशेषताएँ एवं शिक्षा पर प्रभाव। लोकतांत्रिक समाजवादी एवं धर्मनिरपेक्ष समाज के विकास में शिक्षा की भूमिका।

शिक्षा और समाजीकरण- अर्थ, कारक एवं समाजीकरण के अभिकरण, बालकों के समाजीकरण में शिक्षा की भूमिका।

क्षा एवं सामाजिक परिवर्तन- अर्थ एवं सामाजिक परिवर्तन के कारक। सामाजिक परिवर्तन लाने में शिक्षा की भूमिका।

ष्ट्रीय एकता एवं अन्र्राष्ट्रीय समझ के लिए शिक्षा।

इकाई 5

लिंग अध्ययन का अर्थ, प्रकृति एवं क्षेत्र। षिक्षक के लिए लिंग अध्ययन की आवश्यकता।

गिक अन्तर एवं लैंगिक भेदभाव, अन्तर एवं भेदभाव के कारण, अन्तर एवं भेदभाव के उन्मूलन के उपाय।

शिक्षा संस्थानों में लिंग संवेदनशील शिक्षण प्रथाएँ, पाठ्यचर्या, शिक्षक एवं शैक्षिक संस्थान में लिंग पूर्वाग्रह।

  लिंग- लिंग के प्रकार (पुरुष, महिला एवं ट्रांसजेंडर), लैंगिक नियम एवं श्रम का लैंगिक विभाजन।

संस्कृति एवं लिंग पहचान का गठन।

                                                              Philosophical & Sociological Perspectives in Education

Unit-I

1)       Meaning and nature of Education, difference between Education as a process and Education as a discipline (subject).

2)       Meaning and difference between aims and objectives, need of definite aimsof Education, bases of formation of aims of Education, aims of Education in

present democratic India.

3)       Agencies of Education: Formal, Non -formal and Informal. Role of home (family), school and state in the education of children.

Unit-II

1)       Meaning Nature and Scope of Philosophy, relationship between education and philosophy, Philosophy of Education: (nature, scope and need) and its

utility for teachers.

2)       Indian schools of Philosophy: Vedanta, Buddhism, Jainism and Islamic Traditions and their impact on education with special reference to the

concept, aims, curriculum and methods.

3)       Contribution of Indian educational thinkers: Tagore, Vivekanand and Gandhi with special reference to the concept, aims, content and methods.

Unit-III

1)       Western schools of Philosophy: Idealism, Naturalism, Pragmatism and Humanism and their impact on education with special reference to the concept,             aims, curriculum and methods.

2)       Contribution of Western Education thinkers: Plato, Rousseau and Dewey with special reference to concept, aims, content and methods.

Unit-IV

1)       Meaning and scope of sociology, relationship between education and sociology, meaning and scope of educational sociology and its utility         for teachers.

2)       Indian Society: its salient features and impact on Education. Role of education in the evolution of democratic socialistic and secular                   society.

3)       Education and socialization: Meaning, Factors and Agencies of Socialization, Role of education in the socialization of children.

4)       Education and social change: Meaning and factors of social change. Role of education in bringing about social change.

5)       Education for national Integration and international understanding.

Unit-V

1)       Meaning, nature and scope of Gender studies. Need of Gender studies for Teacher.

2)       Gender differences and Gender discrimination, Causes of differences and discrimination, measures of eradication of differences and discrimination.

3)       Gender sensitive teaching practices in education Institutions, Gender bias in curriculum, teachers and educational Institutions.

4)       Gender: Types of Gender (Male, Female & Transgender), Gender rules and Gender division of labor.

5)      Culture and the formation of Gender Identities.
