Meaning, Uses and Differerice between Primary and Secondary Data, Data Collection Methods, Classification and Tabulation of Data. Presentation of Data: Diagrams/Graphs of Frequency Distribution - Ogive and Histograms, Meaning, Application and Limitation of Central Tendency. Measures of Central Tendency- Arithmetic Mean, Median, Mode, Geometric Mean and Harmonic Mean, and Partition Values- Quartiles, Octiles, Deciles, Percentiles.                                                                                    [Lectures-15]

UNIT-II

Measures of Dispersion: Range, Quartile Deviation, Mean Deviation, Standard Deviation, and their Co-Efficient, Combined Standard Deviation, Coefficient of Variation, Uses and Interpretation of Measures of Dispersion.
