इकाई 1-षिक्षा मनोविज्ञान एवं मानव विकास
1द्ध षिक्षा मनोविज्ञान- अवधारणा, विधियाँ, क्षेत्र। वृद्धि एवं विकास की अवधारणा- सिद्धान्त, कक्षाकक्ष स्थिति में वैयक्तिक भिन्नता।
2द्ध शैषवावस्था, बाल्यावस्था एवं किषोरावस्था- अवधारणा, विषेषताएँ, एवं पियाजे, कोह्लबर्ग एवं वाइगोट्स्की के सिद्धान्तों के विषेष सन्दर्भ में विकास।
इकाई 2-अधिगम एवं अभिप्रेरणा
1द्ध अधिगम- अवधारणा, प्रकृति एवं अधिगम को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक। अधिगम के व्यावहारिक उपागम- थाॅर्नडाइक का प्रयत्न और भूल का सिद्धान्त, पाॅवलव का शास्त्रीय अनुबन्धन का सिद्धान्त, स्किनर का क्रिया प्रसूत अनुकूलन सिद्धान्त। अधिगम के संज्ञानात्मक उपागम- गेस्टाल्ट का अन्तर्दृष्टि सिद्धान्त, गैने का अधिगम पदानुक्रम सिद्धान्त
2द्ध अभिप्रेरणा- आवष्यकता एवं महत्त्व। अधिगम स्थानान्तरण- अवधारणा, प्रकार एवं सकारात्मक अधिगम स्थानान्तरण को सुनिष्चित करने में षिक्षक की भूमिका ।
इकाई 3-बुद्धि एवं सृजनात्मकता
1द्ध बुद्धि- अवधारणा, अर्थ एवं इसकी प्रकृति, सिद्धान्त- स्पियरमैन का द्वि-कारक सिद्धान्त, थस्र्टन का समूह कारक सिद्धान्त, गिलफोर्ड का बुद्धि संरचना सिद्धान्त, गार्डनर का बहुबुद्धि सिद्धान्त। बुद्धि का मापन।
2द्ध सृजनात्मकता- अवधारणा, प्रकृति, एवं सृजनात्मकता बढ़ाने की तकनीकें एवं विधियाँ- मस्तिष्क-उद्वेलन विधि, समस्या-समाधान विधि, सामूहिक चर्चा, खेल विधि, प्रश्नोत्तरी।
इकाई 4-व्यक्तित्व एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य
1द्ध व्यक्तित्व- अर्थ, प्रकृति एवं व्यक्तित्व के निर्धारक। व्यक्तित्व के सिद्धान्त- शीलगुण या विशेषक सिद्धान्त, प्रारूप या प्रकार सिद्धान्त, प्रकार सह विषेषक सिद्धान्त।
2द्ध मानसिक स्वास्थ्य एवं मानसिक स्वच्छता- अर्थ, विषेषताएँ। समायोजन एवं रक्षात्मक तंत्र- अवधारणा एवं प्रकार।
Syllabus
Psychological Perspectives of Education
Unit I: Educational Psychology and Human Development
1) Educational Psychology: Concept, Methods, Scope. Concept of Human Growth & Development- Principles, individual differences in classroom situation.
2) Infancy, Childhood and Adolescence: concept, characteristics and development with special reference to theories of Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky.
Unit II: Learning & Motivation
1) Learning: concept, nature and factors influencing learning. Behavioral approaches to learning: Thorndike’s trial and error theory. Pavlov’s classical conditioning and Skinner’s operant conditioning. Cognitive approaches to learning: Gestalt insight theory and Gagne’s hierarchy of learning.
2) Motivation: need & importance. Transfer of learning: concept, types, and role of teacher in ensuring positive transfer of learning.
Unit III: Intelligence and Creativity
1) Intelligence: Concept, meaning and its nature, Theories: Spearman’s two factor theory, Thurston’s group factor theory, Guilford’s modelof intellect, Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligence, measurement of Intelligence.
2) Creativity: concept, nature and techniques & methods for fostering creativity- brain storming, problem solving, group discussion, play way, quiz etc.
Unit IV: Personality and Mental Health
1) Personality: Meaning, nature and determinants of personality. Theories of personality: trait theories, type theories and trait cum type theory.
2) Mental health & hygiene: meaning, characteristics. Adjustment and Defense mechanism: concept and types.
