गणित षिक्षण

इकाई 1

1 विद्यालय स्तर पर निर्धारित गणित की विषय-वस्तु का आलोचनात्मक अध्ययन एवं उसका शैक्षणिक निहतार्थ।

2 महान गणितज्ञों आर्यभट्ट, भास्कराचार्य, रामानुजन, गाॅस और पाइथागोरस का योगदान, विद्यालयी पाठ्यचर्या में गणित का स्थान, अन्य विषयों के साथ गणित का सह-सम्बन्ध।

इकाई 2

1 गणित षिक्षण के लक्ष्य एवं उद्देष्य।

2 गणित की पाठ्यचर्या-अवधारणा एवं पाठ्यचर्या निर्माण के सिद्धान्त।

इकाई 3

1 गणित षिक्षण में प्रयुक्त विधियाँ-आगमन-निगमन विधि, विष्लेषण संष्लेषण विधि, व्याख्यान विधि, खोज विधि एवं योजना विधि।

2 गणित षिक्षण के लिए विभिन्न तकनीकों, जैसे- मौखिक, लिखित, अभ्यास एवं प्रदत्त या गृह कार्य।

इकाई 4

1 पाठ योजना एवं गणित षिक्षण में षिक्षण सहायक सामग्रियाँ। गणित पुस्तकालय, प्रयोगषाला एवं क्लब।

2 गणित में मूल्यांकन-वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के पदों पर आधारित उपलब्धि परीक्षण का निर्माण एवं उनकी विष्वसनीयता एवं वैधता का निर्धारण।

Mathematics Teaching

Unit-1

·         A critical study of the content of mathematics prescribed at school level and its pedagogic implications.

·         Contribution of Great Mathematicians- Aryabhatta, Bhaskaracharya, Ramanujan, Gauss and Pythagoras, Place of mathematics in school curriculum,                         Correlation of mathematics with other subjects.

Unit-2

·         Aims and objectives of mathematics teaching.

·         Curriculum of mathematics- concept and principles of curriculum construction.

Unit-3

·         Methods used in mathematics teaching- Inductive-Deductive method, Analytic and Synthetic method, Lecture method, Heuristic method and Project method.

·         Using various techniques for teaching mathematics viz oral, written, drill and assignment or home work.

Unit-4

·         Lesson plan and teaching aids in mathematics teaching. Mathematics Library, Laboratory and club.

Evaluation in mathematics : Construction of achievement test based on objective type items and determination of its reliability and validity.
