इकाई-1

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र का अर्थ एवं परिभाषा, अर्थव्यवस्था के प्रकार, विभिन्न अर्थव्यवस्थाओं की कुछ समस्याएँ।

ऽ         भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की विषेषताएँ, भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के मुख्य क्षेत्र- कृषि, उद्योग एवं सेवा।

ऽ         आर्थिक अवसंरचना- भौतिक एवं मानवीय, उपभोक्ता जागरूकता अर्थव्यवस्था पर वैष्वीकरण का प्रभाव।

इकाई-2

ऽ         माँग एवं पूर्ति का अर्थ, आवष्यकता एवं सिद्धान्त।

ऽ         आय एवं रोजगार, राष्ट्रीय आय, बजट।

ऽ         अर्थव्यवस्था में बैंकों की भूमिका एवं इसका बाजार पर प्रभाव।

इकाई-3

ऽ         माध्यमिक स्तर पर एक अनुषासन (विषय) के रूप में अर्थषास्त्र का महत्त्व एवं इसका अन्य विषयों से सह-सम्बन्ध।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र षिक्षण के लक्ष्य एवं उद्देष्य, उद्देष्यों को व्यावहारिक शब्दावली में लिखना।

ऽ         पाठ्य-योजना- आवष्यकता, महत्त्व एवं पाठ्य-योजना के विविध प्रकार (हरबर्ट एवं ब्लूम)

ऽ         सहायक सामग्री का महत्त्व।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र षिक्षक के गुण, समाज में षिक्षक की भूमिका।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र की पाठ्य-पुस्तक- अच्छी पाठ्य-वस्तु की कसौटी।

ऽ         मूल्यांकन प्रविधि एवं माॅडल प्रष्न पत्र का निर्माण।

इकाई-4

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र षिक्षण की विधियाँ एवं उपागम- दल (टोली) षिक्षण, परिचर्चा, समस्या समाधान, आगमन एवं निगमन उपागम आदि।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र षिक्षण में आव्यूह एवं प्रविधियाँ।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र षिक्षण में सहायक सामग्री एवं मीडिया- चार्ट्स, डायग्राम, माॅडल्स, टी.वी., रेडियो, पर्यटन, समाचार पत्र एवं पत्रिकाएँ आदि एवं इनका प्रयोग।

ऽ         निदानात्मक एवं उपचारात्मक षिक्षण।

ऽ         अर्थषास्त्र कक्ष का संगठन।

·         Economic Infrastructure: Physical and Human, Consumer Awareness, Effect of Globalization on Economy.

Unit-II

·         Meaning, Need and Theories of Demand and Supply.

·         Income and Employment, National Income, Budget.

·         Role of Banks in Economy, its Effect on Market.

Unit-III

·         Importance of Economics as a Discipline at Secondary Level and its Correlation with Other Subjects.

·         Aims and Objectives of Teaching Economics. Writing Objectives in Behavioural Terms.

·         Lesson Planning: Need, Importance and Various Forms of Lesson Plans (Herbart and Bloom).

·         Importance of Teaching Aids.

·         Qualities of Economics Teacher, Role of the Teacher in the Content Society.

·         Textbook of Economics- Criteria of a Good Textbook.

·         Evaluation Techniques and Construction of Model Question Paper.
