Unit 2

E-commerce and Laws in India: Digital/Electronic Signature in Indian Laws, E-Commerce; Issues and Provisions in Indian Law, E-Governance; Concept and Practicality in India, E-Taxation Issues in Cyberspace, E-Contracts and its Validity in India, Cyber Tribunal & Appellate Tribunal, Cyber Regulations.                                                                         (5+1)

Unit 3

Intellectual Property Rights: Domain Names and Trademark Disputes, Concept of Trademark/ in Internet Era,  Cyber squatting, Reverse Hijacking, Jurisdiction in Trademark Disputes, Copyright in the Digital Medium, Copyright in  Computer Programmes, Copyright and WIPO Treaties, Concept of Patent Right, Relevant Provisions of Patent Act 1970.                                                                                                                 (5+1)

Unit 4

Personal Data Security: Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) in Cyber Law, SPDI Definition and Reasonable Security Practices in India, Reasonable Security Practices – International Perspective, Cloud Computing & Law.   (5+1)

Cyber Law: International Perspective, EDI: Concept and Legal Issues, UNCITRAL Model Law, Electronic Signature  Law’s of Major Countries, Cryptography Laws, Cyber Law’s of Major Countries, EU Convention on Cyber Crime. (5+1)
