1)      Educational Psychology: Meaning, Scope and its relevance for teachers, teaching and learning.

2)      Growth and Development: Meaning, principles and needs and its importance for child, stages of development and its characteristics, role of teacher in facilitator of growth and development of child.

3)      Dimensions of individual development: Physical, social, emotional, moral and cognitive development. Theory of cognitive development- Jean Piaget.
